Beth Hickey

Beth Anne Hickey is an Advanced Sommelier, Wine Director, and hospitality professional with more than fifteen years of experience across luxury dining, wine education, and event coordination. She currently leads the wine program at Barking Frog at Willows Lodge, overseeing an award-winning, sommelier- and culinary-driven list. Before joining Willows Lodge, Beth was the Wine Director at El Gaucho Seattle and held key roles with Daniel’s Broiler, Sazerac, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Winebow, and E.&J. Gallo. Her career spans the restaurant, distributor, and supplier sides of the industry, which has allowed her to gain a broad understanding of how luxury wine, operations, and guest experience intersect. Earlier in her career, Beth worked in acclaimed fine-dining environments including Wolfgang Puck’s ObaChine and Myriad Restaurant Group’s Earth & Ocean, experiences that shaped her approach to culinary-driven service and teamwork. She is also a wine content writer for the Vine Society and has served as a judge for regional wine competitions. Beth enjoys creating guest experiences that are both elevated and welcoming, and values the attention to detail that defines exceptional hospitality. Outside of her professional work, Beth enjoys collecting and reading books, writing, and spending time in the mountains or on a ferry headed out to the islands—interests that bring balance, creativity, and a sense of place to her life.
