On Friday, September 25th, from 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, escape to the islands for an evening of tropical rhythms, dancing, and good vibes! Swing It Seattle is bringing the spirit of paradise to Sparkman Cellars with live music, the warm sounds of a Hawaiian steel guitar, a beginner-friendly swing dance lesson, and open dancing all night long!
Tropical attire is encouraged—think Hawaiian shirts, floral prints, sundresses, leis, and your favorite island-inspired look!
Swing It Seattle offers the best and most accessible swing dance instruction in Seattle, specializing in the original swing dance, Lindy Hop. With our loyal and dedicated student base, we have built a welcoming community for all. Swing It Seattle also organizes weekly and monthly live music social dance events at the historic South Park Hall. We are Seattle’s Home for Happy Feet! Swing It Seattle classes and events are produced by its co-founders, Katie & Mark Kihara.
