Woodinville is home to the original Molbak's, a landmark for garden lovers since 1956, with over a million visitors a year. Browse the everchanging display of plants in its 16-acre greenhouse and nursery, along with hundreds of alluring gifts for home and garden.
You'll find the world's largest selection of all-natural sea salt at Saltworks - over 100 varieties of premium artisan salts. Sample an array of products and take home some bath and spa salts or gourmet sea salts for culinary use.
GARDENS
See a century-old cider press in action at Off the Branch Farm. Enjoy fresh-pressed varietal ciders, and shop the 90-year old barn store for apple butter, applesauce, apple chips, Blue Cottage jams, local honey and apple syrup.
Shop 21 Acres, the year-round indoor Farm Market at this community-based demonstration farmstead devoted to sustainable living. Located in a beautiful rural setting, 21 Acres also offers special events and classes in its Learning Center and Demonstration Kitchen.
BIKE RIDING
The Burke Gilman Trail, a 26-mile paved trail borders Willows Lodge and runs all the way into Seattle. The multi-use trail is perfect for a scenic walk, run, or bike ride. The lodge has complimentary bikes available to check-out through our Guest Services.
BICYCLE TOURS
Bicycle Adventures explores the very best of the Pacific Northwest and Seattle by bike. Ride all the way from the Woodlands of the Cascade Range downhill into Woodinville Wine Country and into the heart of Seattle's waterfront.
DUFFY ELECTRIC BOATS NW
Duffy Electric Boats NW provides a fun, environmentally friendly activity on Lake Washington. Our six boat fleet of 21' Duffy Electric boats can be rented by the hour from Marina Park in Kirkland.
Each boat holds 10 comfortably, up to 12 maximum. No boater's permit required as the electric boats are less than 15hp. Bring your own food and drinks, connect your playlist to a great stereo, and enjoy the beautiful scenery all around you.
RAFTING / KAYAKING / HIKING
White river rafting and kayaking are popular on the Skykomish and Sammamish Rivers. During summer months, paddleboards and kayaks are available for rent through Whats Sup. The nearby mountains are filled with hiking trails.
HOT AIR BALLOONS
Experience the peace and beauty of the Sammamish River Valley with Let's Go Ballooning as you soar high in the air with scenic views of Mt. Rainier, the Seattle skyline and picturesque Woodinville.
WHALE WATCHING TOURS
Cruise to the spectacular San Juan Islands to see orcas and humpback whales frolic in the waters just a little over an hour north of Seattle. Puget Sound Express departs from Edmonds, WA. See gray whales migrate through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound in the Spring and then experience a 4 1/2 hour trip featuring a menagerie of whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, sea lions, otters, shorebirds and many other species of marine life during the Summer and Fall.
