EXERCISE IS ESSENTIAL
We know that exercise is a big part of wellbeing. At Willows we make it easy to exercise with the Burke Gilman/Sammamish River trail system right outside our doors providing 19 miles of trails to explore. Lace up your sneakers and go for a brisk walk or jog to get your day off to a great start. You can also borrow a bicycle from the lodge and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Sammamish River.
Barking Frog Avocado Toast
A visit to Barking Frog for brunch would not be complete without our healthy and popular Avocado Toast. This multi-grain whole wheat toast looks as good as it tastes and comes with fresh avocado, feta, pistachio-almond dukkah, radish, and sprouts. Enjoy this delicious entree in the restaurant or via In-Room dining seven days a week.

This partnership is a win-win as it brings the best in locally sourced produce to our dining guests, as well as assists a local farm in being good stewards of the land in the Sammamish Valley.

Our spa partners at Kerstin Florian have developed several smoothies that put your best healthy foot forward and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. The below recipe is one of our favorites because not only does it help to boost immunity, it also gives your skin a healthy glow.
BRIGHTEN UP SMOOTHIE RECIPE
2 oranges, skin removed
2 large carrots
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 apple, sliced & seeded
½ cup frozen pineapple
1 ½ cups coconut water, chilled (or enough to cover all ingredients in blender)
Blend until smooth. Serves 2 – 3.
Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
